JCB Construction Canada is proud to announce that Pascal Fortin, Vice-President, Site Operations, now serves on the Board of Directors of the Corporation des Entrepreneurs Généraux du Québec (CEGQ).

Founded in 1996, the CEGQ’s mission is to defend the interests of general contractors and support the development of the construction industry in Quebec, both economically and sustainably. Today, it has become a key player in the industry, representing companies that carry out nearly 85% of projects in the institutional, commercial, and industrial sectors.

As co-chair of the CEGQ’s Health and Safety Committee, Pascal has helped expand the committee’s initiatives to prevent workplace accidents and occupational illnesses and improve working conditions across the industry. He will continue this momentum as a member of the Board of Directors, where he will contribute to:

• Raising awareness of the essential role general contractors play in project delivery;
• Collaborating with all stakeholders to support industry development;
• Promoting a culture of innovation and quality;
• Supporting the enhancement of skills and expertise;
• Upholding ethics and integrity within companies.

This appointment recognizes Pascal’s expertise and leadership in the construction field, as well as his commitment to advancing the industry in Quebec. We are confident that his contributions to the Board will continue to support and strengthen the profession of general contractors across the province.
