About the Position

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager is responsible for the execution of assigned projects and acts as the link between the superintendent, the client, and professionals.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing, planning, and coordinating all stages of a construction project in collaboration with the superintendent;
  • Ensuring communication and coordination with the client, professionals, and subcontractors;
  • Reviewing plans and specifications and making recommendations to optimize processes and resources;
  • Negotiating and awarding contracts to suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Establishing and adhering to schedules and ensuring project progress;
  • Conducting site visits and supervising the work of the superintendent and subcontractors;
  • Maintaining rigorous follow-up on ongoing projects;
  • Overseeing the project’s financial management;
  • Managing unforeseen issues and contract extras;
  • Following up on deficiency lists;
  • Preparing billing for clients and subcontractors in collaboration with the accounting department.

To work with us, you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field;
  • At least six years of experience as a Project Manager in construction within the commercial, industrial, or institutional sectors;
  • Relevant project management experience in the private sector;
  • Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications;
  • Knowledge of the applicable Building Code;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard office tools;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
