JCB Construction Canada opens an office in St. John’s, Newfoundland

Brossard, September 17, 2020 - Less than a year after announcing the opening of a branch in Toronto, JCB Construction Canada, headquartered on the South Shore of Montreal, is actively pursuing its growth plan with the opening of a new branch in St. John's, Newfoundland. Thereby marking an important milestone in the pursuit of its vision of becoming a national leader.

Why Newfoundland?

The opening of this new point of service is intended to meet the growing demand for the company's services in the Atlantic Provinces market.

Active for over ten years in Atlantic Canada, JCB has completed numerous projects for major clients such as ALRE Properties Inc, Yellow Pages Group and BMO Bank of Montreal. Its most recent accomplishments include the construction of a new commercial development named Paradise Plaza in Newfoundland for ALRE Properties Inc. And even before this major project was fully completed, the firm already had a new $15 million mandate for the construction of a 67,000 sq.ft. commercial building in downtown St. John's. Other projects are currently under negotiation and the company is very optimistic about future business opportunities.

The new branch, located directly across the street from their ongoing construction site on Water Street, has been in operation since the spring of 2020. It is managed by Patrick Lafrenière, Project Director – Atlantic Canada, who is responsible for business development and client meetings in addition to project management.

JCB Construction Canada, a Canada-wide construction partner

JCB's expertise and ability to mobilize to manage and carry out all types of projects across the country is sought after by a wide variety of private clients with a pan-Canadian presence, such as real estate developers, national retailers and major institutions and corporations. Thanks to its innovative business model combining agility, versatility and flexibility, JCB has developed important business relationships that have lasted for many years and with which it continues to expand its geographic coverage.

Their three points of service, located in Montreal, Toronto and St. John's, will allow them to more effectively serve existing customers in each market while fostering the development of new business relationships. The creation of a natural synergy between the three markets will thus promote the company's growth.
