Ready for The Reopening of Our Construction Sites

Our OHS committee and members of our team have been working tirelessly over the past few weeks to ensure that the return is carried out safely and in accordance with the recommendations of public health authorities. They developed new work procedures, replenished the inventory of safety equipment for our workers, built sanitary stations, revised worksite signage to reflect the new preventive measures, and trained our team members.

Ensuring the safety of our employees, collaborating subcontractors, clients and occupants of the buildings in which we work is our priority.

Here are the preventive measures related to COVID-19 that will be put in place as of May 11, 2020:

Construction sites:

• The number of workers present simultaneously on the same site will be kept to a minimum
• The Superintendent will ensure that the rotation of workers' shifts and breaks is planned to limit social interaction
• Mandatory attendance control by our superintendent upon the arrival of each person at the construction sit, evaluation of the risk of contamination and keeping a record of entries and exits
• Installation of sanitary stations and disinfectant gel dispensers for all at strategic locations
• Regular cleaning and disinfection of tools, protective equipment and contact surfaces
• Signage reminding everyone to respect the social distance of 2 metres and the hygiene measures to be respected
• Work areas will be demarcated by our superintendent for the respect of the 2 metres social distance
• For any tasks to be carried out within a social distance of 2 metres, the wearing of a visor (or a mask and goggles) and gloves is mandatory

Office: 

• Our administrative staff remains fully available via teleworking until further notice
• All business meetings are conducted by telephone or videoconference
• In anticipation of the reopening of our head office, we have installed Plexiglas screens at our reception desk
• We are currently in the process of setting up the protocol that our administrative staff will have to follow upon their return to the office
