JCB is the official ambassador of Relay For Life in Brossard, at Quartier DIX30

Brossard, March 12, 2018 – JCB is proud to announce we will be the official ambassador of the tenth edition of the Relay for Life event in Brossard, at Quartier DIX30MC that will be held on May 26th, 2018.

Relay For Life by the Canadian Cancer Society is a community fundraising event where Canadians across the country join together for one night to celebrate life in spite of cancer, remember those touched by the disease and together, fight against cancer and say to all those touched by cancer that they aren’t alone.

Nearly 1 in 2 people today are at risk of being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This means that every 10 minutes in Quebec, someone finds out they have cancer. Relay For Life is the largest fundraising walk in Quebec to fight against all cancers. Over 25,000 Quebecers walk every year to raise funds to finance cancer research and support programs for Canadians living with cancer and their families.

JCB has been involved in numerous social causes for many years now in the hope to contribute building a better world. We are particularly moved by causes affecting our local community. We’ve been participating to the Relay For Life event for two years. We cherish this cause, as several members of our team have loved ones fighting the disease. Some employees we lucky enough to survive itand others unfortunately lost the battle, including our founder Mr. J. Carol Boutet, 2 years ago.

Last year, our team raised $11,600 for the event. This year, our objective is $14,000. We are ready to be actively involved in fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society and we need your support!
