About the position

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) market by targeting strategic customers and building strong business relationships to support the growth of our Toronto office. Through market analysis, prospecting, and client engagement, this role will play a pivotal part in expanding our customer base and solidifying our presence in the region.

Your mission as a Financial Analyst:

  • Analyze the GTA market to identify key industries and companies, creating a comprehensive list of potential customers.
  • Actively participate in networking events and relevant activities to connect with prospects, promote JCB Construction Canada's services, and establish strong business relationships.
  • Conduct outreach and prospecting calls to present JCB's services to potential clients.
  • Lead meetings with prospective customers, ensuring a clear understanding of their objectives, challenges, and needs, and propose tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system, manage customer progress, and ensure ongoing relationship building from initial contact to contract signing.
  • Prioritize and organize follow-ups with identified prospects to maximize conversion rates into new contracts.
  • Collaborate with the JCB team to develop service proposals, present them to clients, and manage negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Contribute to the preparation of sales forecasts and annual budget planning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the sales department.
  • Perform any other duties related to the position as required.

To work with us, you need to have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business development, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience in the construction or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the real estate and construction sectors, with an in-depth understanding of market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive growth for JCB.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office automation tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
